The clinic is designed with two components: sports performance testing and an introductory rowing session.

The sports performance testing will be conducted by one of Iowa Rowing's Strength and Conditioning Specialists. Participants will have their strength, flexibility, endurance, and power analyzed and receive a comprehensive, individualized report.

The rowing portion will be led by Iowa Rowing's coaching staff. Participants will learn the fundamentals of rowing including, boat handling skills, the components of the rowing stroke, basic terminology, and water safety. Instruction and activities will take place on land and water, weather permitting.

Includes a t-shirt, lunch, transportation between facilities, and a snack.
