Welcome to Iowa Women’s Wrestling camps, where athletes will enhance their understanding of skills and tactics of freestyle wrestling taught by the Iowa Women’s Wrestling Team. Sessions will include drilling, sparring, situational live wrestling, and evening conversations with the Iowa Women’s Wrestling student-athletes and staff. This will be an exclusive camp for campers to train in the same environment as the NCAA Division 1 University of Iowa Women’s Wrestling student-athletes. 

Campers will stay in the dorms located on the University of Iowa campus. There will be 2 female athletes per room and meals will be included. This camp will have a limited number of female athletes with a 3:1 ratio of athletes to clinicians. This camp is open to any and all entering 9-12 grades in the Fall of 2024 and is highly recommended for athletes who are on a path to continue their freestyle wrestling career with an elite level of experience. There will be 3 workouts per day: 2 mat practices and 1 conditioning workout.
