Teams will enhance their understanding of skills and tactics of freestyle wrestling taught by the Iowa Women’s Wrestling Team. Sessions will include drilling, sparring, situational live wrestling. On the last day, we will prepare Team Duals, officiated and coached by the Iowa Women’s Wrestling Student-Athletes. Team building exercises will also be incorporated alongside meaningful conversations with the team on a day in the life of a Hawkeye. Opportunities will be given for Teams to have team bonding and learn about important topics such as: Nutrition, Time Management, Balancing Academics and Athletics, and Team Unity. 

Team Coaches are welcome to join the camp for FREE and work alongside the Iowa Women’s Wrestling Coaching staff throughout the camp sessions.

WHO: Open to any and all females, entering grades 9 - 12 in Fall 2024
WHERE: Goschke Family Wrestling Training Center (next to Carver-Hawkeye Arena) 
WHEN: Friday, 11:00am - 8:30pm (registration opens at 10am)
             Saturday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
COST: $200 per person or Team Rate of $180 per person for 10 or more athletes per team

The FIRST TEN TEAMS will be accepted and limited to 10 girls per team or a 100-athlete capacity. 
Coaches, when registration is open - please register your team and list the number of athletes you plan on attending camp. Once payment has been processed, Hannah will reach out on the next steps to register your individual athletes.

Registration will open on Monday, March 11 at 10am.
